The way leading to the birth of ABC of body
1973 beginning of the academic training at the ballet school of La Scala theatre.
1981 she takes her ballet diploma and is admitted to the "Corps de ballet" of La Scala, through a competitive examination.
1982/86 her first engagements in the roles of "prima ballerina" and "étoile" in Giselle,The Swan Lake,The Bethroted,Coppelia
1987 officially appointed "prima ballerina" of the "corps de ballet" at La Scala Theatre. Since then she has been dancing in the greatest roles of the classic and contemporary repertoire,interpreting the masterpieces of:
R. NOUREYEV, G. BALANCHINE, , N. MAKAROVA, J. KRANCO, R. PETIT, F. HASCHTON, H. SPOERLI, J. KILIAN, A. ALEY, U. SCHOLZ, MATZ EK, W. FORSITHE, MICHA VAN HOECKE, M. PISTONI,P. BART, V. VASSILIEV, M. BIGONZETTI.
Recognitions and awards:
1987 - Candy Award for "The promises of dance"
1995 - Positano Award for "The art of dancing"
1997 - Danza & Danza Award for "Giselle"
1998 - VALENTINO Award - A love message
2001 - Arenano Danza Award as a great interpreter
OTHER ACTIVITIES:
1995/99 Study of the body and movement in relation to specific situations of work:
- scuba-diving licence "Dive master" (PADI-SSI)
- parachuting with the Academy of Italian Parachuting under the guide of R.Mirzan
- practice in the discipline of Raja Yoga under the guide of C.Sgroi from the Yoga European Federation
- practice of Zazen with the teacher R. Reev, President of International Zen Association
2000 - appointed Principal dancer of the "corps de ballet" of La Scala Theatre.
2000 - ABC of Body was born.
